Alexa Problem

When I tell Alexa to turn off the bedroom fan about half the time the fan will increase to 99 percent.

The log shows: Device: Node 07 Bedroom Bedroom Fan Set to 99. When I say it a second time the fan shuts off. Any idea what's wrong?

How is this device defined and what protocol is the device? Is your fan connected to a dimmer?

Not sure what Device Defined is. It's a GE Z-wave dimmer in wall switch.

You should check to see if Alexa is understanding your because it sounds like it thinks you are saying on rather than off.
