    Guys,
What is the smallest door/window sensor you have used that can work with HS3.

Rupp if you are okay with drilling into your door/window and the frame, then the Aeon Labs recessed ones are very nice (and small).

        $35 @ https://www.amazon.com/Aeotec-Recess.../dp/B0151Z49BO

An even cheaper alternative ($20) are the Monoprice no-logo version (the ones I use myself) @ https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15268 (shows up as a "Vision Sec Notification Sensor" within HomeSeer)

Size wise the Z-Wave component part is about 2x CR123A batteries stacked on-top of each other (one for the actual battery, the rest for the circuitry), and the other side is 1/3rd of a CR123A battery that is just a magnet. They can be mounted in different variations, but they do require modifications to your door/window and corresponding frame. Had no qualms with doing that myself, because it is easy to undo on a wooden structure with liquid-wood filler, but on sealed PVC units it gets trickier. Still plenty of places to drill and mount this recessed, but you might then want to prefer to look at an external solution.

The least prominent one in that case is the new Aeon labs one @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E0OMQR6/

Battery life on the recessed MonoPrice is pretty good and I expect 3-4 years easy.
