Device reference filter doesn't work for HS3 events

I have few HS3 devices that change their values under certain circumstances (input data from sensors). I forgot where were the events that change the device values. tried filtering the events "by device reference" and got nothing.
Any thoughts of what is going on and how to fix it?

First check to be sure all Event Types are checked in the middle drop-down. If there are no events with those devices, possibly a plugin or script is updating them rather than events?

You might also try jon00's event viewer for more insight and granularity of filtering.
