    TI103 not working

I ordered a TI103 probably over a year ago for my new house I was building. Well landscaping and all of that stuff is done and I am starting to setup my Home Automation system. Just to test now I have a two Lamp Modules. Both on A1. They turn on and off with remote, but I can not get it to work with the TI103. Does anyone have any idea whats going on?

By looking at this does anyone see what the problem might be? I am getting absolutely no response at all. I have NEVER used this device either. Just took it out of the box, plugged it into the wall, plugged it into my com port. (I did make sure all dip switches were off besides 7 and that was set correctly)

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Take Care

I experienced the same thing. I made sure all the com port settings were correct, but I used 19200 baud and used polite mode. Then I used a small applet I downloaded from ACT. It has a "test" mode where it continuosly sends commands. It then seemed to "Wake up" and has worked with out issue since.

        Hi nolmscheid,

by looking into your logfile it seems that at first you try to switch the lamps via the TI103
an then you use your Remote, which works as you said.

So far it looks to me that the TI103 is able to receive commands from homeseer via the com-port
and also is able to receive from the power-line
as one can see that it reads the commands 'listening' while you send them with your remote.

At this point there can't be seen any malfunction of the TI103. But assumed that it is plugged into a let's say 'bad' power outlet, where it it is probably too far away from the lamps but near enough to the remote-receiver module it could exactly lead to this behavior, which you observed.

With other words: Try another power-outlet which is nearer to the lamps you want to control and check if it improves the situation.
        (just for finding the cause)
Because it might be that it just can't be 'heard' by your lamps by means of insufficient x10 signal amplitude.

The communication between com-port and your TI103 seems to be OK, as far as I can see.

        PS:
I also opened a ticket via the support system and also have not heard anything either!
Concerning my TI103 plugin issue this was weeks ago. :-(((
