    I need help with a Schlage smart lock please! I'm at my wits end.

    The smart lock is this one: Schlage smart lock

    So for about 10-15 times, every time I tried to add this smart lock I would get some kind of error.
    The smart lock was about 5 inches from my stick on my computer.
    I tried restarting my phone, and computer and HS3 several times with no luck until a few minutes ago it worked.


    However when I go to check it at the control panel I'm missing a few lines(not sure what to call it).
    I have the exact same lock that added fine and I am comparing my 2nd smart lock to the first.

    Also the lock/unlock command is not working consistently with the buttons above on the screen shot.

    What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this?

    Edit: I guess time 16 is the charm. I removed it and added it again and everything is there.
    I still would like to know what caused the issue.

    How exactly were you adding this lock? If not using Plugins > Z-Wave > Controller Management > Select your Z-Wave network and use the add node drop down option from the web interface, then it was most likely timing out. Also what is this "control panel" you are referring to? Is it view device management via the HS3 web interface or are you using an app?

      I was using the z tool(android) to add it.


      Sorry I'm not sure what the "control panels" real name is.

        It's usually referred to as Setup. Or more specifically, Setup General tab.
