    Monoprice 15270 sensor battery level

I recently purchased a Monoprice 15270 Door/Window sensor. The battery level status within HS3 has not updated for several days, everything else works fine. If anyone else is using this device, does your battery level status update periodically?

In the manual there is a statement "Use the BATTERY GET command class to report the remaining battery capacity". Does anyone know if the HomeSeer software issues this command?

The following are my thoughts on the sensor:
    A) the device is defective
    B) by design, the device only sends the batter level when the battery is low
    C) there is a configuration parameter I have not set correctly

I'm trying to decide if the device is defective before installing.

    Thanks for any help,

I do not have this sensor but have learned that some sensors only require setting of a reporting interval in the sensor itself(set using "parameters") AND some require that Homeseer actually "Polls" the battery device, say every 12 hours. Check both

Thanks Bob. I forget to set the Homeseer Poll Interval. Now it works great.
