Providing an alert when a certain vehicle enters/exit through a gate.

Sorry for the massive delay guys, I really appreciate all of the responses! I really do.

So, this is for a specific cargo vehicle on a customs parking lot. The manager wants to receive a notification on his phone each time this vehicle exits and enters the lot.

I'm aware that we could go with much more robust and industrial solution for this application than HomeSeer, but we are trying to keep costs down. And in all honestly HomeSeer should perform this task just fine.

I'm familiarized with RFID, but I've never actually implemented it on a job before.

Are the RFID plugins still alive for HS3? are they supported by the author? What would I need hardware wise?

Is this a covert operation or voluntary. Does the parking lot have one entrance or multiple?

This is 100% voluntary. Single entrance.
