Switch between HS3 and HS4

I'm guessing the answer is already somewhere and it's no...

Is it possible to flip between HS3 and HS4 on either the same windows pc or more likely on a another windows pc and maintain control of all the "same" z-wave devices? If so, is there a step-by-step doc somewhere?

All the z-wave node information is stored on the z-wave chip in whatever z-wave interface you are using. Here, I am using a Z-Net so switching between HS3 and HS4 is basically a matter of shutting down my HS3 instance and starting my HS4 instance. I run them on separate machines.

I run HS3 and HS4 instances on the same box since I will ultimately switch to HS4. You can't run HS3 and HS4 at the same time using the same controller (ztroller, etc.) so I decided it was easier to have them on the same box so I don't have to swap devices around between boxes.

Is it as simple as just installing HS4 on a box running HS3? If not, is there a procedure I should use? Any corruption risk?
