sorry , I might have misundestood than. I thought , your alarm is triggered by unwanted moving of your gate, wind , or bumping into it.
My gate , when someone wants to walk through it , he needs to open it a bit which takes more than 2 seconds. If a storm pushes it open or an animal pushes against it, it will be less than 2 seconds.
my event is something like this.
event 1:
if the sensor is activated > start timer.
event 2:
if the sensor is deactivated > stop timer.
event 3:
if timer is 3 seconds or more > alarm
