    Yale Dead Bolt Types

All of my locks look like the bottom one in my picture. I have 1 lock Node 37 in the picture that looks different.
Is this because of the lock itself or the zwave module in the lock?

    Thanks
    Mike

I had the same problem before, I think it's related to the zwave module.

Two different lock models, and the first one looks newer (Z-wave +) and the second one looks older.

Then it might be related to the lock!

zwave or zwave plus is just the module that plugs in to the lock. I am wondering if i replace it with a zwave plus module it will be the same as the others

I thought about doing this. Unfortunately, according to Yale tech. support, you cannot put a Z-Wave Plus module in an older lock because of some, unspecified, hardware differences.

Well, to be precise, this applies to YRD220. If you lock is different, you may have better luck.

I had older locks and could not changed the module.
                So I changed my YRD220's for YRD256's.
