Does anyone have Amcrest IP3M-941B Cameras detected by HS4 when wireless

If I cable mine to the network it always finds them. When wireless...never...or at least in a dozen or so attempts.

You should not use DHCP, but rather a fixed IP address, also try making wireless the default.

The Amcrest IP Config software should find the camera even if it does not have a fixed IP.

You may need to reboot via unplugging after being logged in via a hard wire.

Dave, thanks for your time. I do assign them fixed addresses, but do so from a DHCP server. The Amcrest software does work all the time. They just never get discovered by HS4 if connected via wireless.

ts1234 Well I just went into my camera device list page and my cameras are all gone. So it may not be anything you are doing wrong at all. We need the staff rjh to check into this.

I use Blue Iris for my cameras, but from what I have been reading here on the forum, it's not an issue with Amcrest.

Clearly the code on the HS4 newly developed security camera feature is not fully accounting for real world conditions!

Thx everybody (sigh). I'll look into Blue Iris as I think it probably also adds a features that would be really handy.
