I just built a house and am trying to finalize what all components I need to purchase and set up for my home automation.
I have purchased Schlage ZWave locks, I have a server rack with 5 audio zones, a hdmi 8x8 matrix and several other things.
I am really struggling with the decision of what hub to purchase. This morning, I think I am landing on HomeSeer. However, I am still somewhat confused. If I purchase the windows based software and install it on a dedicated pc, what other hardware do I need to connect to my devices?
Can anyone point me to a starting point for new pc installation how-to? I’m not worried too much about scripting or plug ins. It’s the hardware that I want to make sure I get right first...
