My Zee s2 was having problems. I re-flash the micro SD card to no avail. I just purchased a HS PI hs4. Setup all devices and it's working fine, but it seems I'm now logged in as a guest. I tried all default logins.. default, admin, hsthsths4 but nothing works. Is there a way to get around this problem? HS support was no help.

Need login help.. reset - Solved!

It appears your users.cfg file has been modified. To get the original users.cfg back to default:
- Download the putty software, which can be found on the putty.exe link here: [http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s...y/latest.html]
- Note down the IP address of your HS4 Rpi, and navigate to Tools > Linux > Shutdown HomeSeer
- Open up Putty and enter the IP address in the appropriate field (leave the port as-is), and click Open. If you receive any errors or warnings, click yes.
- Once connected, you will be asked to log in. The username is homeseer and the password is the system password which you set when first configuring the device. The default is hsthsths4. Keep in mind that you will not be able to see the letters you enter for the password, nor any indication of such. This is a security feature of Linux.
- Type *sudo rm /usr/local/HomeSeer/Config/users.cfg*
- After hitting Enter, you shouldn't see any warnings or errors. If so, use *sudo reboot* to restart your system.
- You can now login using default/default and now you can add your myHS user account with identical credentials as you myHS account with admin plus local access.πββοΈ Support & Customer Service πββοΈ Sales Questions π Shop HomeSeer Productsβ

sudo reboot should restart your RPi software HS4 included.

Yes I did go to support. They told me just about what you said but did not say "skip that step" and after that it got confusing. I deleted the support emails a couple of days ago.
I'm just happy its up and I can access everything. I still need to access HS Mobile... Can't login and I wish the GUI was like the HS3

I would recommend putting in a new support ticket or continue the one you have as support will need to see your user accounts and system profile to get your HSMobile working.
