HS4 Documentation

I've been hacking my way around HS for years now. One thing I never fully understood was the Status / Control settings. Yes, I get the range, status and graphics part. What I do not clearly understand is the Row, Column, Col Span. Can anyone point me towards the HS4 documentation that would help me to understand this screen.

Row/column refers to the position within a grid that your control/status will be placed on web page.....(your layout control)

column span allows the status/control. To spanmultipe columns in the grid.

play around with some small values, save and observe
