    I believe the majority of ring suppressors worked by directing the 20Hz ring signal to ground via a capacitor. However, this method would stop any phone in the house from ringing, which likely isn't the outcome you're looking for. The optimal solution might be to disconnect the ringer, assuming you're able to access it.

      Great to hear. I've dealt with Sandman for years and have always gotten good service. Mike Sandman died several years ago but the company philosophy seems unchanged.
