Plugin to validate a state change?

I have locks that often fail to respond to lock/unlock commands. I use a plugin to monitor the log and with a bit of event trickery resend commands if it sees a failure.

Is there a plugin that can simply watch events call devices and if they don't change resend the command until they do?

Eman - Awesome link. My locks are older and not even zwave plus. Is there a particular section of this that help me monitor responses simply in an event?

The silly part is that if there was better logic available in events this would be easy.

This whole problem wouldn't exist if events supported things like "do" and "while"

I'm also looking for something that supported any device that fails...the locks are the most critical for obvious resons...so thanks!

Eman - Thanks for the extra effort! The beaming won't help my old locks. If they didn't cost so much to replace I do it in the heartbeat, I'm not even sure if Schlage

has updated them even today. I'll check out the plugin...THANKS!
