The Aeotec Siren 6 itself does not use disposable batteries. It takes a 5V power supply and has its own internal rechargeable backup battery.

Since the Dome siren and the Wink siren share the same parameters and probably are the same unit inside. I made some minor modifications to the awesome script created by Jon00 et al., and now I have expanded the control of my unit.

Roger, can you share your updated script? I have 3 of these, maybe get more.

One question... do you have a large delay when the event triggers these? Mine have a 30 to 60 second delay. making it less than usable for a motion alert (someone at the door, etc).

Here's what the events look like...
