    Super short wall plate screws

Where do you all buy them? a lot of my zooz switches need short screws... not sure if I lost them after painting the house or if i put shorter ones in wrong spot.
so Home Depot minimum length are still too long. I could cut them down but a pain especially if someone knows where to buy them in bulk.

Odd. The link works on my desktop PC. Try putting this search term in amazon's search field. It's the first hit when I do it.

Run a 6-32 nut up on the screw before cutting it and then back the nut off of the screw to clean up the threads. A stainless steel nut works even better.

Your using it wrong. The screw screws into the threaded hole with the screw head on the threaded side. Then the tool shears the non-head portion off, thus shortening the screw. The screw is then backed out and the threads are reformed as it is turned out. There's no need to screw a nut on it first.

I guess I'm more of a hack. I thread the nut on and then cut the screw off with a Dremel tool.

Makes sense that a cutting tool would work like that.
