Presence detection using UWB U1 chip in iPhone

Ultra Wide Bandwidth (UWB) chip U1 in iPhones does wonders allegedly as far as location goes. It can locate Apple's AirTags within an inch accuracy reportedly.
Does anyone know of applications that use UWB to locate people (who carry iPhone) within a room with high accuracy and reliability.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the links. Well this looks like 10,000 ft aerial picture of the issue.
I found something closer here, albeit not a solution.

The board is available today (if you are patient to wait 2-3 weeks for China delivery ), it is reasonably priced at $39 and it is build around the very popular ESP32 controller.
So the problem of building anchors (reference stations) is pretty much solved.

      Open issues

      1. Do Apple / Samsung open their UWB environment to developers. ( I assume no one is interested to carry around a tag just for presence detection and have each member of family carry one as well.)
      2. Do apps exist for iOS and/or Android that broadcast (or receive and analyze) UWB signals for location purposes.
