A Little Device Diagnostic Assistance with Status Not Settting

I have a light switch in our family room that will not change its status.
The value does change when the light turns on and off and the graphics change.

When I look at the device under the Status/Graphics tab I see this:
Value 0
Status No Status

If I turn the light on the value does change but the status stays at No Status.
The issue is I have events acting on whether or not the light is on and since the status is showing 'No Status' they don't fire.

Any thoughts?

Maybe a silly question, but under the Status/Graphics tab, do you see graphics images with values that match the values under Status/Controls?

Thanks for the suggestion - yes the Status/Controls and the Status/Graphics look just like yours and any other light I have.
In the lower section in the Advanced Information area the status even says "No Status"

It's weird!
