Mimic device script?

Does anyone have any script for mimicking one device to another? I have two thermostats in the same room, one family room, and one in the loft above. I want the thermostat in the loft to adjust to whatever the thermostat in the family room is set to. Vise versa would be great, but if too complicated then I can just lock the thermostat in the loft.

I'm totally new to scripting, so any examples or shared script would be super helpful!

Have you looked into device linking? This thread is in context of HS3 but HS4 has the same capability.

Have you looked at EasyTrigger? I believe it has the capability of copying values from one device to another.

Linking did the trick. I completely forgot about that setting and I never knew how to use it. Thank you Wade!

aa6vh I have Easy Trigger but didn’t look there. I will as I also want to set up a virtual thermostat with static settings that I can run an event to copy the settings to all 6 of my stats.
