Any errors in the startup log? We did not change anything in regard to devices or events in the saved data, so event or device loss does not make any sense. If you go back to 4.2.12 are things ok? If so, please PM me your .json folder in your data folder so we can load it.

I assume you are on WIndows.

Uninstall HS4, then re-install with the 4.2.12 installer. The installer is probably in your HS4 directory already, if not, you can download it from here:

          https://homeseer.com/updates4/SetupHS4_4_2_12_0.msi

Note that uninstalling does not remove any settings or config files. But just to be safe, I would back up your HS4 folder.

I did uninstall and re-install HS4. Unfortunately nothing has changed. Still floors and rooms are missing and about 600 out of 1,000 devices are missing.

The only file that I found in my HS4 directory that resembles the one above is

            SetupHS4_4_2_4_0

I downloaded the 4.2.12.0 installer from the link above and ran it.

              RESOLVED !!!!!

Followed the advise of HS support staff and performed "Restore" operation. Apparently I have scheduled my HS4 to make back-ups automatically twice per week.
I was able to restore a backup from June, 5, 2022 and everything came back to normal.
I'm on v.4.2.12.0 now and I'm scared to upgrade to 4.2.13.0 provided the issues I have faced. Should I give it a try again or wait for next version ?

Shutdown HS4, copy the entire HS4 folder to a safe place and try again. If it fails after that, just drop in the backed up folder and you'll be back up and running again.

This is exactly what I do before each HS4 update. I've had things go sideways more than once. I also keep the archived folders around because sometimes I find problems days later.
