My unit has been running smoothly for years. using all 3 zones + extended the blaster so I could reach my AC units.

Is that connected to your homeseer pc ? I would be using this from a raspberry pi near my tv.

Yes connected to my Homeseer PC (Win10).
you can use a USB extension to move the unit but also use the external jack to daisy chain multiple emitters (2 zones - at least 4-5 emitters per zone here). The 3rd zone is the integrated blaster. If you can handle a soldering iron it can also be extended via an external cable, which I did to reach my 2 AC units.
