    Home troller pro windows 10

    Hi
I'm a Mac guy not knowing a lot about windows.
I have the home troller pro with windows 10 pre installed.
If I wanted to mount the windows hard disc on my Mac how would I do that?
The windows IP address is 192.168.1.126 so I tried smb://192.168.1.126/HomeTrollerS but no luck.
There is also a program on the Mac Microsoft Remote Desktop but it wants a username and Password.Whats the username and password on the pre installed home troller pro?
    I never changed it.
    thanks

First, you will need to setup a share on the Home Troller device for the directories on the hard drive you want to share. Instead of trying to give step-by-step instructions here, it might be best to use documentation on the Internet such as https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...1-131475f9557d or https://www.howtogeek.com/762111/how...on-windows-10/. For your first time setting up a share, there will be some trial and error. Keep track of what you do so you can remove any creations you do not want.

The second part will be to connect from the Mac to the Windows share. Again, it might be best to use info available on the Internet such as https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-...-mchlp1660/mac.

The third part (if you are scripting a process) will be to add the connection process to any code. That can be a bit more tricky depending on your scripting language.

Also, if you haven't already done so, create a new Windows user on the Home Troller. In general, it is not a good idea to use the top admin account to access shares. If possible, create the new user without admin privileges.
