Looking for a simple way of Creating a Virtual Device or Switch

I'm looking for an easy way of creating a virtual switch for some door and leak sensor and then have them integrate with Aleaxa to announce when doors open and where a leak sensor detected a leak. Any assistance in the would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a good guide on setting this up:
How To Enable Alexa TTS Announcements for HomeSeer Devices - Products
    HS4Pro Running on a Raspberry Pi4
    67 Z-Wave Nodes, 111 Events, 422 Devices
    Z-Wave, UPB, WiFi
Plugins: EasyTrigger, weatherXML, OMNI, Z-Wave, Tuya, Device History
HSTouch Clients: 3 Android, 1 Joggler

Hey Rmasonjr, thanks for the response. I just learned (switched from Insteon) this past June. I'm not a programmer but do miss and need the voice announcements that Alexa would make for certain alert notifications. I say all that to say, is this long and tedious process and requires programming? Is this what you have installed and use? Is this less complicated than voice monkey?

To be honest, I set mine up using that link a long time ago and I have never modified - it just works.

That said, it is a little involved, but the steps in that link are accurate. A YouTube video would be better, but give those instructions a shot.

I use mine to announce through all the Echo devices:
        • Alarm has been Armed/Disarm
        • Medicine reminders
        • Trash Days
        • etc.

Ok so judging from the link, I have to install node-red to homeseer first and then do the Enable Alexa TTS Announcements for HomeSeer Devices after?

I will give it a try this weekend and I hope everything goes well. Thx again.

Yep - Node-Red is the secret sauce that bridges the Alexa service with HomeSeer...

Just because I like to have options, the other secret sauce is:

VoiceMonkey and Jon00's VoiceMonkey Utility. That's the route I took.
