    Z-Wave RGB lightbulbs

So I am in search of some Z-Wave RGBW light bulbs but can’t seem to find any on the market. It seems that they are all Zigbee or Wi-Fi controlled.

Anyone have any links for z-Wave bulbs?

I am not certain how to set up a Zigbee controller

For "simple" things like bulbs, motion sensors, temp sensors, zigbee is quite a bit better than z-wave in many ways. It's easier to include and manage a mesh system. It generally costs substantially less as well. My two cents

I suggest you investigate the Conbee (Windows based) along with the JowiHue plug-in. It incorporates seamlessly with HS (assuming you're on Windows)

One caveat, nearly all zigbee mains connected lights are repeaters but there are a couple of very cheap RGB bulbs that although they work fine as zigbee, they are not repeaters in case you want to use a bulb to help increase the distance of your network.

I have found the inovelli RGBW bulbs to be pure Z-wave and work just fine. https://inovelli.com/products/red-se...gbw-smart-bulb ... Easy to include and work wonderfully. I have also found a lot of the 'wifi' bulbs can be used with Tuya/SmartLife App and the Tuya plugin quite easily as well.

+1 on the Inovelli. I just got 2 of them and they included instantly and I created a color picker for HSTouch to control them. They work as expected.

The only downside I see is they are harder on the budget as compared to wi-fi bulbs.

Thanks for the find. I will give this a go and see how it works. Not really a fan of having to set up another network (Zigbee) to my already complicated system.
