I am looking to integrate all of my keypad functions into one touchscreen keypad, and have been attracted to the Xantech SPLCD line since they output standard RS-422 that can easily be converted to RS-232. I want to control audio, video, security, and intercom functions from a single keypad. Has anyone done any work using the Xantech line to consolidate wall-mounted pads? Thx!

Most of the work in the touch screen arena mentioned here is being accomplished using a combination of HomeSeer, A touch screen PC, and Main Lobby and the HS Main Lobby plugin. All of your audio, video, and home automation tasks could be accomplished with HS and a few additional plugins available here.
