Moving mosquitto DB to new pc?

Not quite HS4 directly but maybe someone can help. I've enable persistence on the current server, got the .db file, I want to move it to a new server. Can't seem to find a straight answer on how to do this. Has anyone done this that can help? Thanks

I have deleted the db file and let Mosquitto recreate it. I have never moved one, but it should be no more than replacing the one that you now have on the target computer with the one you want to clone.

Just an FYI hopefully it'll help someone down the road.

I setup the new machine to have the same IP as the existing since I was retiring the old PC which was the host for HS4 and the MQTT broker, I setup the new PC to have the same IP installed the broker, spun up HS4. Everything worked exactly as it should. So as long as you kept the server address the same you don't have to do anything or else I image just logging into each device and updating the broker's address would do the trick.
