Ubuntu HS4 scheduled event - midnight nightmare

I have an event "Music Volume schedule midnight" that is scheduled to run at midnight 12:00:00. It calls another event "All volume to zero" that controls my whole house music system. It is all simple and straightforward as I do not have any additional conditions, triggers, loops etc. If I run the event manually any time it runs smoothly and does what it is supposed to do. It was working normally under Windows at midnight no problems. After migration to Ubuntu this particular event goes crazy restarting multiple times as the log shows below. This is small part of the log. It keeps going like that until it "breaks" HS4 ultimately. Any clues of what could be going on?

This is an old known bug that HST seems to keep ignoring. Set your schedule for 12:01am and all will be fine.
You can't schedule anything to run at midnight.
