Anyone know what goes bad when the W800 stops working?

For me its been the power supply. I opened the case and just soldered two wires to the power tabs inside of the case. Did not like that earphone jack for power.- Pete

It is a 9 VDC. Get a 9vdc regulated power supply from Amazon for around $10 and cut off the end of it and take apart your W800 and solder it.
You can also just purchase a female barrel connector with wires and solder that to the W800 board and use the above regulated power supply with the barrel connector.
Thinking that is what I did. Its been in the attic so long I have forgotten about it.- Pete
