HS4 message to Google/Fitbit Versa 4 wrist watch

I need to send text messages to my wrist watch from my HS4. Does anyone have experience in this regard and willing to share it ?

The wrist watch is Google/Fitbit Versa 4. I chose Google eco-system for my home. I have many Google devices such as TV, speakers, chromecast, and all related plug-ins for HS4. Theoretically it should be easy but I can't find a way so far.

    Thanks

HSBuddy has a plugin function that allows you to send messages to the HSBuddy phone app (which then shows them also on the watch), that worked OK for me.

Thank You pseudocode for the hint.

Downloaded and activated HSBuddy on both HS4 and iPhone. Unfortunately the messaging action a.k.a. "push notifications" does not work in HS4. The action shows in available actions drop down box but disappears when selected. HSBuddy is a legacy plug-in and it seems that it is not maintained (multiple 404 dead pages) and not working with the latest HS4. At least the feature that I need doesn't work. Other features do work but I don't need them.

I'm still on HS3 and don't do Apple-sphere products, but with my Google phone and Samsung watch I just send email a text message to my phone and it shows on the watch. Done this for years...

spknapp Thanks for the note. Been there done that. e-mail to messaging is slow and unreliable and I need the messages instantly in real time. Like if someone is ringing the doorbell it wouldn't help if I respond 10 minutes later :-)

Found a solution ! After an extensive online search and asking around ( ChatGPT and Bard ) I found the solution that is actually quite easy for me. There is "Notifications" setting in Fitbit app that opens a new screen and inside that screen there is selection "notification by app" . When you click on it about dozen choices show up including the messaging apps "Telegram" and "Slack" . Fortunately for me I do have Big6 plug-in installed that supports both. So not only I found the solution but now I have a choice which one to use. Please note that "Telegram" and "Slack" choices may show only if the apps are installed on the iPhone.
