I have a small but irritating issue with Find.Homeseer.com. I am sure it is something to do with my hardware settings but I can't figure it out. When I search for my Hometroller Pi on my cell phone (iOS 16.5) using Find.Homeseer.com I am unable to locate my Hometroller. When I perform the same search on my Mac I find the Hometroller every time. The Hometroller Pi has a static IP and there is no problem bringing up the web pages on either device. When I use a second cell phone (iOS 16.5) I am successful in finding the Hometroller.

Find.Homeseer.com worked as advertised when I first installed this Hometroller Pi two years ago. If it was someone else's phone I would not worry about it, but as I am the one maintaining the system, Its irritating as H... Any suggestions as to why I would be getting different results running Find.Homeseer.com on different devices?

Be sure to disable data on your cellphone to be sure it's working on your local WiFi connection. "Find" only works if your device is connected to the same local network as the HomeTroller.

Thanks for the suggestion. I turned off all cellular and data functions and got the same results. Also verified that I was on the same network, can reach the server through the static IP.One curious observation, I can reach the Maintenance page associated with Find.Homeseer.com directly through its IP address.

How does the Find.Homeseer.com work? I assume there is a intra-net page that is displayed.
