use hard wired z-wave switch as remote switch.

I have a bunch of Leviton DZ-6HD z-wave dimmers in my house and they work great.
I wanted to use one of the DZ-6HD dimmers that is not attached to a load as a wired remote but according to Leviton that does not work because the switch needs a load to send z-wave signals.
Is there a workaround or does anyone have a wired remote switch that works solid and provides proper fast feedback to HomeSeer?
    Thanks, Michael

I do this with a HS-WD200+ dimmer and have done it in the past with a GE/Jasco z-wave switch (or possibly dimmer--can't recall). Pretty sure it would work with most z-wave switches and dimmers when a neutral is present at the device. Seems odd that the Leviton has this limitation.

kellermix Can you post the link with the info from Leviton? I agree with Wade that this seems odd. I have a couple of Zooz devices that I use this way.

I called Leviton and they said it needs a load to work.
Can I use a resistor as a dummy load?

Why not just try it without a load. It's either going to control what you want it to control, or it's not.

          Maybe also try through "linking".
