    Templinc sensors intermittent

I have been using two Templinc X-10 temperature sensors for some time. Originally they seemed to work rather well. These days they don't seem to transmit their temperature changes very often, only a couple of times per day each. I know the temperatures are changing more often than they are reporting (one is in the attic). Does anyone have any experience with these devices loses their x-10 signal strength? Every time they transmit, they transmit good data (as seen from the log), so I don't think it's a matter noise. I don't have any other X-10 related communication issues, and have a repeater/coupler across my phases which seems to work well, at least for my other X-10 devices.

I don't really have the desire to run wires (I know a lot of people use 1-wire), but wondering if there is a fairly cheap wireless solution that I can use with my W800.

    Thanks for your suggestions.
    Mike
