Memory leaks - I'll look. I haven't changed the apps I run so I hadn't been looking for leaks (as I had none).

This PC does not do email or user-directed web surfing. But I guess someone could sneak a virus in somehow (it's NATed behind my router).

    Thanks
    Steve

well - this problem where HS exits leaving no complaints in the ah.log and nothing in the windows logs - is back. It went away for a couple of weeks.
I've changed nothing. Didn't even reboot the machine.
Watching the memory free statistics, I don't think there's a new problem. As I said before, this HS system has run for years without doing this.

I'm stumped. I had a little evidence in the last round of failures that someone on the web was doing something on port 80 that HS's web server didn't like. But I'm not sure of that. This latest problem has nothing at all in the log regarding login attempts on port 80. But maybe it wouldn't if it was some kind of DoS attack.

Maybe the trial and error approach is to turn off port 80 forwarding in my router for a while.
