Ideas of how to call a public function in vb .net and...

I need some input on how I could have a public function called in a vb .net plugin so that if the function is currently being utilitzed, then the request goes in a queue and gets executed when the previous request finishes.

So basically I want to only allow one call access to the function and it must finish completely before another call can be made to it.

I am a little unsure as to how I can make the request wait until the last one is done and then execute it and return the values back.

I know how to do it in Java with the use of a synchronized method, but I am a little unsure of how to do it easily in vb .net.

    Can anyone help?
    Cheers,
    Bob

How about setting a flag when the function is in use; when the calling function sees the flag clear its good to go.
