dialing out ?

I tried making and event that would dial my cellphone. and speak a message
the log shows the the event executing
but it never dials out,
the modem never triggers or goes off hook.
I can pick up the hand set and see if the line is in use . which it isn't

i also tried to get HSphone to dial a number from the phone book but no dice same deal i see it in the log but no dialing taking place.

I'm using the new HS2
and PCI modem.

I had the simular probelm with the old HS1.7.
it would dial out but i never could hear the message.
so i gave up.

has anyone got this feature to work with HS2?

Similar Problem

When I use a phone action, the number is dialed but the phrase is not spoken. The phone will ring once, then hang up.

I found this script on the board last year it worked on HS 1.7 and I used it for a few weeks until the WAF put a stop to it. I have not tried it with HS2

I had a similar problem when I first upgraded to HS2... The problem was that in my out-dial number I was including my area code and HSP was trying to dial it even though my home area code was set properly. I took the area code off of the out-dial number and began receiving my messages.
