I'e been trying to view and download from several forums without success. Specifically, I'e tried to follow threads in the Script Library Archive and hte Script Library. Each time I try to follow a link I get a pop-up that says "This action requires the 'View Content (This Forum)' permission. If you are a registered member, please log in. Otherwise, you'll need to register." My Login and Password do not open the door. What gives? How do I get the most current NowPlaying package?

I checked the permissions on that forum, and they should not be preventing this - I am not sure what is going on, but it might be another UBB 'Eve' conversion problem. I will ask Rich to check into it, but Rich and I are bad test cases because our logons obviously have administrator capabilities. If somebody else tries to access something and is denied, perhaps they can post something here to confirm it for us that it is a problem.

I have the same problem. If I click on a link to another thread I am asked to login and when I do Nothing!!! I think it be broke

The links that prompt you for a login are from the old BB and unless the links to those threads are changed by infopop they are as good as gone.

In several cases I've found that you can make the links work by modifying the address. After getting the login screen change the url in the address bar by replacing "ubb.homeseer.com/6" with "ubb.homeseer.com/eve".

A pita but it works. It would be much better if infopop could correct this.

I ran into the same problem last night. I was in the Script Library (HS) forum and tried to access a link to another post. Got another login prompt and it would not accept my username/password.

For example, I was in
http://ubb.homeseer.com/eve/ubb.x?a=...445#4422982445 and clicked the link to http://ubb.homeseer.com/6/ubb.x?a=tp...3&m=8432982445

I tried Jim Steed's suggestion and it worked.

If you want to be real technical (and who on this board doesn't want to be technical?), just put a HOSTS entry in that points the old board URL to the same IP address, then it works just fine... I actually added this to my local DNS server a while back when the old board was having the same problems.
