    Problems with 1132CU

Hi I've been working with homeseer for a while with a CM11A. After trying it on 2 different computers, it keep freezing the computer. So, after some reading I decided to upgrade to the Smarthome 1132CU. The new interface worked great at first. But I've been having problems with it now--not freezing up, but not receiving the signal at all. At first, I thought it was just a poor signal, I have had some issues in the house, but thought I'd solved them. Last time this happened with Homeseer 2.0 running, and no signals from motion dectectors coming in and nothing getting out and nothing in the log showing any problem. The computer was not frozen (like with the CM11A--it just refused to acknowledge anything. So, with homeseer still running, I tried an experiment of running the small (crappy) program that came with the smarthome interface. I tried turning on a light and it worked perfectly. I tried a couple of other things and everything worked perfectly. Switched over to homeseer and could get nothing to work. This is with both programs running at the same time. So, this seems to tell me that the interface is working fine. If I shut down homeseer and reboot the program, things will work fine for a couple of days or maybe a couple of hours. I wonder if anybody has any ideas. I have enjoyed reading on the message board for a couple of years now. I've never really had anything to add to it, but was hoping someone might be able to help as I really enjoy homeseer and there is not anything out there like it.
    Thanks,
    Joanne
Win XP Professional on the first computer, and Windows 2000 Professional on the second computer I tried.

Check to make sure you are using the latest Powerlinc plugin from HST. Go to the updater and check versions.
    Thanks,

    T.

Welcome to the HS BB Echo. It would appear then that there is something amiss in the powerlinc plugin. Have you adjusted the settings in this plugin? Do you have the latest plugin from the updater?

Yes, we are currently running 1.0.0.7. I've looked at the settings, but they were the same settings in the basic Smarthome software so I didn't adjust them.

What version of HS are you running?

I'm running 2.0.2040.0. I did revert it back to the previous 1.7 version to see if the problems would persist, and they did, so I switched it back to the current version.
