    New app..TV Server

Not sure if this is the right place.

I am building a TV Server using four Hauppuage 250 cards. I am going to integrate this into the HS web app.

I have the ocx for controlling the the cards, but have not figured out how to stream the cards live feed into a web page.

    Is this even possible?

Did you look at SageTV ($80) or SnapStream ($70) or GBPVR (free, not so hot IMO) for a home TiVo-alike?
I use SageTV for TV recording, slide shows, music, DVDs. Works fine - allows local TV and remote via-LAN viewing.

The hard part of these is the complicated algorithm for on-going recording schedule management - de-conflicting what channel to tune to for a new show versus automated delay to get a later airing, etc. The User Interface in SageTV is open, published and customizable/extensible.

Isn't that what this Hauppuage plugin does?

Read the help file for the ActiveX control, it's quite simple to use.

          Little more

Actually what I am doing is creating an all new touchpad interface for all of my home automation.

I am building a tv server with four cards in it and there will be an interface to view the cards. I am at present trying to figure out how to get the cards to display in an web app. Eventually the it will be built into a shell app.
