Microsoft Virtual Server now FREE download

I know a few people are using or have talked about virtual server and/or vmware - well vmware has a free download product (VMWARE SERVER) and so does Microsoft now.

Note: MS VS works on Windows XP PRO - not home - I haven't tried it on MCE.

Does this mean that you can't really run X windows at, say, 1280 x 1024)?

Don't know - I use both vmware and virtual server extensively - I normally just use the remote desktop to get into the virtual from another host on my network, performance in the virtual is normally fine - I ran homeseer like this for about 6 months until I had a piece of hardware that I wanted to use that I couldn't virtualise.
