HAWKEYE / OCCUPANCY MOTION SENSOR QUESTION

Is there a way to completely disable to light sensor in the hawkeye or occupancy sensors? Can I just cut the sensor out or will that mess up the board? I have 12 sessors throughout the house and don't like the fact that they have this feature. I want them to be used strictly as motion devices, not light sensing devices. Thanks in advance,

I have disabled this feature and connected the light sensor tomagnetic reed switches for Door and windows. I will have to look for the resistor value that is need in place of the photo cell but I think it is only needed if you close the connection as would happen with the switch.
