I am fresh out of ideas - perhaps post a screen shot of everything in the event as Rupp did for the trigger.

    Thanks Rupp.

So what I did was copy Tink, I create a new event called Test XXX, set it to "type reccuring" every 9 seconds, put a 10 second retrigger everything worked as Tink explained. So I moved on to change from a recurring to be conditional and this is where it seems to go wrong.

Take a look at the trace below. I stood in front of the motion sensor and waved my arms (at 19 seconds past) then I sat back and did nothing for a minute. Yet it seems to have done a conditional trigger as the time rolled over the minute 00, 2 triggers for the price of 1.

    Got any ideas ???

    Tink,

Where is the option to reference to hour or trigger only once per hour ?

Do you have the options set to reference to hour or trigger only once per hour?

I set up an event to run every 9 seconds, but set the option not to re-trigger to 10 seconds. It worked as it should - every 9 seconds it tried to run, but if it had been only 9 seconds since it last ran, it would not run again. The next time (18 seconds) was greater than 10, so it ran.

started a topic retrigger in xx seconds.

    retrigger in xx seconds.

I'm trying to get the function not to retrigger an event in xx seconds working. I've tried various values from 30 seconds to 60 seconds yet the event still seems to always retrigger as the minutes roll over and the seconds = 00.

    I'm using homeseer version 1.7.7

    Any ideas ?
Working...
