Door/Window Sensor (DS10A) mounting?

I am looking at getting a few DS10A (door/window sensors) from X10, but I am a little unsure about how they can be mounted on a crank window.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to mount these things on a window that cranks open vs a slide window.

The sensor deploys a simple set of magnets. So if the window has to parts that separate a couple of inches then it's as simple as attaching the 2 magnets.

I usually mount the magnet that's attached to the DS10A by a wire, and the DS10A on the part that doesn't move. In most cases this is the door frame or window frame.

I place the stand alone magnet on the part that moves, which is probably the door or the window it's self.

I do have 7 or 8 of them installed exactly the way Ed just described. They work great with W800 plugin.
