    Ignoring Device Addresses

    Hi,

I was looking in my log file and noticed that twice a day I would receive O11, O12, O13 and O14 on at the same time everyday. I unpluged all of my x10 devices and figured out that this signal is coming from outside my home or is generated by something other than x10. Is there a way for homeseer to ignore signals like an O11, even if it is received by RF or over the AC line?

    Thanks,

    Ronnie

If you have a W800RF it's possible to tell it to ignore entire housecodes.

You could create devices that match the device codes you wish to ignore, and mark them Do Not Log in HS.

I'd suggest you focus on the root cause of the problem, which sounds like noise on the power lines.(if all of RF receivers are disconnected) Use filters and a noise/signal meter to determine the source of the problem, and block it.

Even if you stop the stuff from being logged, it will still exist on your powerlines to collide with your legitimate X10 signals.

    Good Luck,

    Ed
