This would be my first year. I want to go, but is it worth the 12 hour drive there and 12 hours back? Are you going? Any thoughts? What to expect?

Since I can get in for free and its only a couple hours drive for me I'll probably hit it just to see what its like. Not sure what to expect as I've never gone but hey, Indy's a nice town so even if its not that great its chance to go on a nice little day trip, drop wife and kids off at the zoo, and go check it out by myself for a little bit.
