Need basic help

I purchased my copy of Homeseere and Homeseere Phone last week, and I have figured out how to do most of the basic stuff with Homeseere, but I am having problems with Homeseere Phone.

I installed a HAL modem with the HAL drivers, but it still does not work. When I call the house, HS Phone answers after 4 ring then silence. I have also tried to make an event that has HS call my cell phone. When HS calls my phone, the cell phone only rings once then disconects. Any advice??

Welcome. Have you tried turning on the HSP log to see what it is reporting? Also try the Tools > call simulator. This is supposed to simulate an incoming call.

On a side note. Are you a Wildcats fan?

Also the products name is HomeSeer.

Rupp- When I look at the call log, it only says that it is getting a incomming call. When I try to call HS, the phone rings 4 times, then silence.

Even after last nights loss, I still am a cat fan!

Try this. Back up your settings.ini file and then remove all of the section under [hsphone]. Then reset your com port and other needed settings and see if it works any better.
