    Pond lighting

I'm looking to convert a defucnt swimming pool into a couple of ponds and am thinking about what lighting to fit.

It will have to be low voltage using transformers for safety reasons.

What would be really neat would be to have 3 differently coloured lamps and arrange for them to dim & bright either in sequence or at random.

    My questions are:-

    a) If I use Lamp Modules will they work with the transformers ? The lamp wattage will be 35 or 55 w.

    b) Can a script be written to do what I desire without it generating an excessive ammount og X10 traffic (I have many other devices to control)?

    c) Are there better ways of achieving my goal without spending a fortune ?

      Rupp,

Thanks for your reply. I had already looked at the thread.

Unfortunately it is a bit wooley and does not give me a way forward.

      regards

I have a pond and use two fluorescent 2-way modules for both the fountain motor and the transformer that powers the underwater light.

No way to dim, that I know. And, yes, you do need to use transformers for low wattage, for safety reasons. Especially in my case, as I wouldn't want my 2 ft long coy fish ending up like fried carp!
