    Togglelinc question

Ok- I am having a few issues with a toggleLinc dimmer. I installed two of these with great success. I can control the light at the switch and via X10 control.

Now I am in the midst of a three way switch. I have the dimmer and a companion. I hook it up as shown in the picture- and the switch and the companion work. The problem now is that I cannot control the switch via X10.

On the working switches- I hit the palm pad and I see the LED flicker. On the three way- no luck. Tried a factory reset- no luck.

I hooked up an X10 meter (Elk) in parallel with switch and companion and I see a good signal- say 1 volt. I believe the spec said minimum 100 mV- so this should be more than adequate.

I removed the companion and still see the same issue- I also tried a second dimmer and that does not seem to be working.

I have a bridge coupler and a filter on all my noisy components. I see what appears to be a good signal.

    Any suggestions?

I put a appliance module in parallel with the switch and that worked fine. I think I got some bum switches.

I found a solution to this problem- at least for the time being. See

May be a possible bad transmitter- some receivers may be more tolerant that others...

Anyone ever see anything like this....
