Audio output and devices

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting various sounds to go to the correct places. At first the greetings would play through the speakers and messages couldn't be heard. I changed the "Message playback/recording device" (to the sound card) in HSP options and that fixed the messages. I changed the output device (to the HiPhone) in the Speed CP applet and now the greetinsx play over the phone.

Twoproblems: The "beep" still comes through the speakers. Callers are left waiting for it and don't leave messages. Also the "speech output device" in the Speech CP applet keeps reverting to to the sound card.

What am I doing wrong?

Do not set the speech control panel to send TTS to the phone, that could cause problems as normal TTS will not work. Set that to your sound card. In your multimedia control panel, set your preferred audio device to your sound card.

Are you using the PCI modem or way2call?
